About

Development should go wherever you do

We're building the bridge between a real computer — on your desk or in our cloud — and the one that's always in your pocket.

The best ideas rarely arrive at your desk. They show up on a walk, on the train, in the ten minutes before a meeting. But the moment you want to act on one — kick off a build, nudge your AI, check if that fix actually worked — you're tethered to a laptop you left behind.

Rigaway exists to cut that tether. We believe the place you build — your real tools, your real files, a real computer — should be reachable from the device you always have with you. Not a laggy screen-share. A fast, private connection to your own computer, or to a cloud desktop we run for you.

What we believe

Privacy is the default

Your code is yours. When you self-host it never leaves your machines, and no session should be readable by anyone but you.

Creativity without limitations

Build whatever you can imagine, wherever the idea hits. Real tools, real AI and live previews mean your phone never puts a ceiling on what you make.

Builders first

We make the thing we wished existed, and we listen to the people who use it every day.

Our story

Rigaway started as a scratch-your-own-itch tool: a way to keep an AI coding assistant working while away from the keyboard — without handing your code to someone else's cloud. Keeping everything private, straight between your own devices, wasn't an afterthought — it was the whole point.

Today Rigaway is a focused, independent product built by people who care deeply about craft, performance, and respecting the people who use it. We ship fast, we talk to our users, and we sweat the details most tools skip.

Where we're headed

Cloud desktops for anyone without a computer of their own are rolling out now by waitlist. Next: smarter AI workflows and features for teams. The throughline never changes: everything you build, everywhere you are, on your terms.
